Finally have got PPR for my in laws after almost 80 days.

It was a relief as it was approved with a previous refusal.

Did u apply on IRCC portal or GC Key site ?

Also can you share time line when u applied

No update.

Applied on 29th June via IRCC new portal for my sister in law.

Last updated in tracker : 13th July then nothing after that.

Someone suggested me to book a return flight tickets and upload it via web form to show the intent of return.

Would that help or needed for Visitor Visa?

What is reason - not returning, no ties to return. Who applied and for how long? Did applicant show own cash, ties to return (job letter with approved leave, business, income properties), family ties (spouse/children under 22), strong travel history etc.

Received the biometric instruction **letter saying country of birth is India** and

Given name: ABC XYZ
Family name: ABC XYZ

when it should be:

Given name: ABC
Family name: XYZ

What do you do in a situation like this? Is it possible to call IRCC and inform them? Or do you just go to the VAC with this letter and inform them?
