Passport came back without stamping within canada

Hi i am currently a student in Canada in Edmonton.
I've extended my study permit and i got my permits but when mailed my passport to IRCC embassy in Ottawa, for the stamping it came back saying that they couldn't find any TRV application.
The stamp on my passport will be expired by the end of the month. What should i do? Is it necessary to get passport stamping done?

So you applied for TRV when you had valid SP? You don't need TRV if staying in Canada as a student.

Okay because you mentioned TRV so there would be no TRV stamp. You don't need it stamped. You apply for TRV separately.
