Hi All,
Reposting this. Unfortunately there is no change and i am still waiting for the oath invite.
Everything marked complete since June 20, 2025, but still waiting for an oath invite. I also called IRCC, and they informed me that everything is complete and only the oath is pending. They said our file is with the ceremony team to schedule an in-person oath, but I’m not sure why there is a delay.
Is anyone else from Oakville (or GTA) experiencing similar delays? Is there anything I can do to follow up?

• Application: Family (2 Adults, 2 minors)
• Application sent: March 21, 2025
• AOR: April 16, 2025
• Tracker created: April 18, 2025
• Background verification: Completed on June 3, 2025
• Test invitation received: May 16, 2025
• Test taken: May 24, 2025
• Test marked completed: May 28, 2025
• Language/Physical Presence/Prohibitions: Completed on June 20, 2025 (Updated in tracker on June 24, 2025)
• Citizenship Ceremony: Not Started

Hi All, finally after a long wait of almost 3 months we have recieved the oath invitation. Oath Email not received till now. Here are the timelines:

• Background verification: Completed on June 3, 2025
• Test invitation received: May 16, 2025
• Test taken: May 24, 2025

• Language/Physical Presence/Prohibitions: Completed on June 20, 2025 (Updated in tracker on June 24, 2025)
• Citizenship Ceremony: Oct 15, 2025 (Tracker updated on Sep 12, 2025)

September 13 (exactly 2 months after BG) - Ghost update, but no changes in LPP.

No update since July 12 when BG was completed. LPP is in progress.

Today while connecting to the portal I have noticed that the previous message saying I was scheduled for oath on the 26th disappeared and the status of oath reverted from in progress to not started.

Anyone had or heard of this situation ?

I recall having seen one or two cases like this coming up - I think it is likely nothing more than an oath ceremony being rescheduled and nought to do with your specific case.

Hey everyone. I see the average processing time for applications has increased to 11 months. Does this apply to existing applications or would the average at time of application apply? Does anyone remember what was our average back in March?

It was ten months in March, and this applies to all applications in progress. Although the processing time doesn’t accurately reflect the actual time taken, they use it to indicate that we’re still within the processing timeframe, even though many applications take less time.

I have a +55 application (test and language exempted). It was submitted online on Feb 16 but started processing March 18, and I believe it is with IRCC Vancouver based on ATIP note. Everything is in process and no movement till date. Is that normal? Thanks

Not abnormal. I was a 55+ applicant as well, and even after I had downloaded my citizenship e-certificate and was officially a Canadian citizen everything in my tracker was still showing as "in progress" (save for BG, which was completed mere days after I applied for some unknown reason).

Sadly, the tracker isn't at all an accurate way to track your applications progress.

Finally an update after 3 months
LPP updated to Complete on tacker today (Sep 16). Waiting for Oath invite now!

LPP passed Sep 12. Got the update in tracker today. Only oath ceremony is pending now. Hope for a quick oath soon.

Got a Ghost update today, Sep 16 after three months.

Nothing changed though. Background completed June 4. LPP still pending.

Someone went through a similar process? What does this ghost update means? Thanks

My tracker got updated to oath on Sept 23rd on Aug 27th. It’s Sept 16 today and I still haven’t received the email for the oath invite.
