Got GCMS, it states "Grant Review ready PM01"; Google says this means "your application is complete and ready for a first-level manager (PM01) to begin the final assessment for a decision to grant citizenship. "PM01" refers to the officer's level, indicating the application has passed preliminary checks and is now at the stage where an officer will review it for a decision."

concern i see: LPP assigned to another agent and due date updated as "2026/03/05"; does this mean officer has time till till this date and can be decided anytime soon
OR, shall i go in holiday mode and expect completion of this application only in March 2026.

Can any of you share similar observation from your GCMS to confirm you also noted date way later in future but decision made earlier than that date ?

Hi.
Eligibility assessment due date on GCMS notes doesn’t mean that it will take that long, if you notice on the GCMS notes all the eligibility assessments will be marked as the same due date. Hope PM01 will review and approve your application sooner…

Citizenship application submitted on 14th February 2025 from outside country. Received AOR on 5th March and BG completed on 20th March shown in tracker. I am 70 years old and no test is required. After March 20 no development shown in tracker. I am worried till now no intimation from ircc. What is my next step please advice.

Suggestion - apply for GCMS notes to check status & remarks made by the officers.

Just got an update this early morning. Oath of Citizenship scheduled for September 26.

The funny thing was that my application got stuck for a little while and I applied for GCMS notes. Today marks 30days since I submitted it. Not sure if it influenced it or not, but worth sharing. It's been a wonderful platform for useful info's and supports. And to whoever made that tracker, God bless you! Wishing you all the very best.

Hey everyone,

Has anyone here applied for a passport through the Citizenship to Passport Initiative Pilot Program?

I just received an email inviting me to participate, and I’m wondering if anyone can share their experience with the process.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

There have been several reports I've seen here, most quite positive.

Caveats: it's a pilot, so if you're going to be very concerned about your passport timing and/or freak if the trackers don't provide perfect info, don't do it. It's a pilot. It may not work well for everyone. The online progress trackers may not be capturing the steps from the pilot.

That said: my understanding is that it means you don't need a guarantor, and you apply online (the ONLY way you can apply online for the passport if it's your first one), which is more convenient. And for most it's been pretty fast - ten to 30 days, it just shows up in your mailbox (or to sign for). I think most have been on the faster end, I think.

(I did not personally do it though. I did use the online passport renewal, worked quite well, and fast. I didn't even think to use the tracker for that.)
