after BC PNP Confirmation under health authority
1. I am applying after BC PNP confirmation under Health Authority stream. If I submit the required documents they asked only and nothing in additional documents will it have any impact?

2. Also the the guidebook says dates on back of photo with Date of birth, but how to do that in online form.

3. Do I need to pay biometric fee along with processing and Right to PR fee?

I am in a difficult situation and need some guidance.

In May, I was able to see my eCOPR in my account, which shows an expiry date in September. However, up to now I have not received the PR Confirmation Portal (Portal 1) invitation.

When I contacted IRCC, they told me that the Portal 1 request had been sent to me. I have carefully checked my inbox, spam, junk, trash, and all other folders, and I can confirm that I never received this email.

Now, IRCC has informed me that they may have to cancel my current eCOPR and that I would need to restart the process from the beginning, which is very concerning since the delay was not caused by me.

I am unsure what steps to take at this stage to resolve the issue.

oh wow this is the first time ive heard or read of an instance where they would cancel a copr and restart the process. I think you need to request for your GCMS notes to see exactly what happend or is happening to your file.

When you said IRCC has informed you that they may cancel your copr and restart the process was it from the IRCC hotline, IRCC email, or from a message in gckey account?

No this is wrong information. They can't cancel your PR like that. You should email them and also call them and ask them to resend Portal email again. It happened before with many people. They don't cancel ECOPR like that . Trust me .

Happy to share my final update: my PR card arrived, 48 days since eCOPR. Full timeline in my signature. I wish good luck (and lots of patience) to everyone here.

Oh, by the way: don't trust the "Permanent Residence Portal" status message. Mine is still showing 'In review with IRCC'. Use your eCOPR information and link the PR Card status on GCKey.

Greetings, I’m in a position in which I need to know what I should brace myself for.

My Permanent Residency is still processing, the latest update was on August 4, informing that I passed the medical exam. Along with that, I have also applied for a Bridging Open Work Permit as my previous permit expired in July, and currently I’m in an implied status. According to the letter sent by IRCC, I’m authorized to continue working until September 30 or until a decision has been made. That means I only have one month left and yet I haven’t got any word about it, so you’ll understand if I’m starting to feel restless (is it normal that they take this long to approve a work permit?).

My questions are about what I’m supposed to do if nothing happens before September 30. Am I allowed to stay in Canada but not working anymore? Do I have to leave or I’m obliged to stay until the PR process is over? If I leave, will that impact my PR process, or can I wait for the resolution in my home country?

Thanks for your answers, the more elaborate the better.

Your timeline looks very typical for OINP Non-Express Entry applicants. Since you already passed medicals and your background verification was marked as completed, the main step left is the eligibility review, which often takes the longest in paper-based or non-Express Entry streams. It’s normal for this stage to remain “in progress” for several months before a final decision is issued, especially since processing times for non-Express Entry PR applications can stretch 20–24 months.
The fact that your file has steadily progressed without additional document requests or complications is a good sign. At this point, it’s mainly a matter of waiting for IRCC to finalize your eligibility review and issue the decision. Many people with similar March–April 2024 timelines are likely still waiting too, so you’re not alone in this stage.

Thanks for the reply @Miss bee. In my tracker the COPR document status shows as expiring on Sep 17, 2025, and my PGWP is also getting expired on Sept 27, 2025. Can I know will I get any update before that or by end of the 2025? Based on your experience.

Just wait and apply when you are closer to 3 months. Processing times these days are really long.
