I applied for a visitor visa for my in-laws on July 3, 2025, and their biometrics were completed on July 9, 2025. Since then, I haven’t received any updates.


I submitted a web form to check the status, and the reply I received simply stated that the application is still in progress.


Is anyone else experiencing the same delays after biometrics, or is this normal for everyone?

Biometrics is completed on July 09,2025
it is showing background check, eligibility is still in progress since then.

its been 49 days since i applied, and the processing time is 45 days in IRCC website

Submitted passport on August 4 in Chennai VFS
Got a message saying it received ircc delhi on August 6. Still haven't received any updates? When will I get my passport?

I applied for my visitors visa in the first week of July. And got approved within two weeks. I don't remember the dates exactly. And I submitted my biometrics on 21 july and medical exam on 22 nd july. And got my passport submission request on July 27 . Submitted to VFS on August 4 and received by ircc on August 6
