Hello!

I will be moving to Canada shortly with my Canadian spouse to BC and will be applying for a work permit at the border.

We are really just waiting for my husband to get his Canadian passport to apply for Spousal Sponsorship but he won't be able to get it until after we're scheduled to move. Was just wondering if I can use the same medical exam for that application as well. It's a medical exam specifically for public health workers (I am an RN). It will be recent, as I just got it done today on 8/18.

How are you applying for a work permit at the border. If you got a medical through an IRCC approved physician then no issue

Got a job offer already and I have all the documents squared away, just needed my medical exam which I completed today I'm applying for CUSMA at the border.

And yes! Definitely IRCC approved. I went through the website and scheduled with an approved physician.
