Passport request for Super visa while visiting Canada

3. TT Services Consent Form, Download it from [https://visa.vfsglobal.com/usa/en/can/passport-submission]
4. Money Order of $22.20 USD. I got it from TD Bank. Addressed to: VFS Services (USA) Inc. Make sure it is in USD.
5. I also sent a explanation letter and included my home address and email address.


You don't have to inform IRCC if your parents are in Canada and In order to activate the Supervisa , they have to exit and re-enter on Supervisa.

I am not very clear with courier process. Could you please help me to tell how to send courier to VFA NY.
1. using Canada post or Fed Ex
2. Should I enclose return envelope while sending it VFS NY. along with other documents
3. does VFS pick up courier from Canada and deliver it to VFS NY
4. about teturn process- will they deliver package after stamping to Canada

confused because process in india and Canada seems slightly different. in india they pick the package and return at same address.

Hi All . My mother and father (from India) they are planning to travel to Canada on their visitor visa (TRV) this May month and their super visa still in process . If they get PPR, can we still have the possibility to submit it to nearest VAC as there is some ongoing issue with Canada and US ? Still they are accepting requests from Canada ? And moreover , either me or my parents does not have
US visa . So are we supposed to do that ? And do they need to go back to India to initiate super visa entry ? Plssss reply

They can’t initiate a new visit on the supervisa without leaving and trying to reenter Canada. They can use their supervisa on their next visit.

My parents are here in Canada on their visitor visa. They got passport request for supervisa . They don’t have US visa.
1) Can we send the passports to VFS in US for stamping?
2) Do they need a US visa to submit the passport in US?
3) what is the procedure to send the passports ?
4) I saw we need a money order for the same . How did you take the money order?
5) Which courier service did you use?
6) Can we send both parents passports in one envelope or do we need to send it separately?
7) Do we need to enclose any explanation letter along with this ?

I applied for a Super Visa for my parents earlier this year. Due to personal reasons, they will be coming to Canada soon on their existing visitor visa while the Super Visa application is still in process.


I just received a request for their medicals and expect the Passport Request (PPR) might come after they are already in Canada. I know the Super Visa process is normally done outside Canada, but in this situation:

1. Can we submit the passports from inside Canada through VFS Global to be sent to the overseas visa office for stamping?
2. Does IRCC have any issue with the applicants being in Canada during this step?

I saw on this forum that someone has done this from within Canada—could they share how they did it, where they sent their passport in Ottawa, and what they included in the letter of explanation?


Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Hi What did you mention in the letter and where did you send the passport in Ottawa, is it VFS Global or IRCC? And did you have to inform IRCC that they arrived in Canada before their Supervisa PPR on a visitor visa?

I also got stamping done for my mother super visa in Ottawa.

It is just a self explanatory letter explaining your situation and ensure to include application# , passport#, UCI# (If applicable) and have applicant sign on the letter and send it along with passport and passport request letter and you should be good.

You cannot send it Ottawa. Better send it it VFS New York I got mine stamped from New York last week.
