Hi everyone,

I submitted my interest to sponsor my mother under the Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship Program back in October 2020. My father passed away many years ago, so my application only includes my mother.

Despite multiple draws since 2020, I haven’t received an invitation to apply, and I’m starting to wonder if anyone in a similar situation (with only one parent listed) has been selected.

If you’ve applied with a single parent — or know someone who has — and received an invitation to apply, could you please share your experience? It would help me understand whether single-parent applications are being selected in the pool.

Thank you.
Mine only includes my mother as my father passed away as well way before 2020. We got the invite this year. I already lost hope a while back to be honest since this is a lottery system but we got the good news this year. I'm hoping that yours will get picked next year if you didn't receive the invite this year.

I received an email for the 2025 Parents and Grandparents Program on July 29, 2025. I will be filling out all the application forms on behalf of my parents, but I will not declare myself as their representative to save time. Instead, I plan to complete the forms as if my father, the principal applicant, is filling them out. My question is about Form IMM 1344 (Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking): Can I confirm that I only need to enter my name as the sponsor, matching the name of my father, and that a handwritten signature is not required?

I got the invite for PGP 2025 and wanted to know the procedure of sponsoring my parents and my grandparent (father's parent). I understand that primary applicant will be one of my parent or grandparent. However, can I include all 3 in the same application or I need to separate for all 3 or probably my mother and father in one and another for my grandparent. TIA
hii did u include all 3 names in ita form?
