Glad to share that I just got my invitation today few minutes after my previous post here. I’m in AB and received it @9:30AM. Thank you.

When I applied in 2020, I had the issue of Indian Passport, of not having Last Names. Is it possible that people who didn't have Last Names are not getting picked? Am I that unlucky that every friend of mine received it, except me.

Even my mom had no last name added in her passport when I submitted interest to sponsor form in 2020. Please continue to have faith in God and in your prayers. It will happen to you as well. Good luck. Thanks!

Hi folks, congrats to all those who have got the invite emails. My question is if someone missed the invite in prior years let's say it went into junk mail and got deleted after 30 days from there. How to know if someone got picked in any of the prior years. This process is so stupid that one cannot make sure that we are still in the pool or if someone got invited in prior years.

Pls help me solving this, its so frustrating

Not at all — people who submitted in May and June last year received their PPR faster than I did.

I consider myself lucky and feel truly grateful. Both my own PR and citizenship were processed in under four months, and now my parents' PR took just one year.

That just means you had similar processing times. Plenty of May and June applicants still waiting. Processing time is dependent on many variables.

Not too sure TBH, however, each year after they finish sending invitations to potential sponsors, a tool becomes available on their web site that allows one to check with original confirmation number whether it got selected or not. There would be similar thing on Aug. 07 as per the web site. Hope this helps.

Were you not checking the tool every after draw? There would be no way to know if you were invited previous years.

Do screen shot of the tool every draw so you have records.

Just field your full name, it has nothing to do with your passport. It did require you upload a passport at all.
