Did you guys check GC key? When i received this email, i had a medical request doc and Prearrival letter on GC key. Nothing on Tracker
Yeah, that’s how it works. Requests for medicals, and later, even PPRs are received via the GCKey portal.
The status tracker and GCkey are not always in sync at the same time.
Usually, there’s an email notification to check GCKey if it’s updated with these requests / documents, but no email for the tracker updates.

I created GC Account and am trying to link my Kid's application. Since I still don't have Kid's UCI, I tried with other options to search the application. (family Name + Application Number, name+Place of birth etc.); But I am getting the error saying we could not find your application. I referred to Form 0008 and entered exactly what was given and yet no luck. and it gives only 5 attempt in a day.

@mahithalal and @PRforbaby - Do you have any suggestion on how to link the application? Or should I wait until Kid's UCI is available, could that be a reason that its still not available?

You can call ircc and ask for the variables to enter on each spot, they will give you after confirming that the caller is valid

Hi,
Assuming you've entered all the other info correctly, in the very last field where it says 'No. of family members, incl. PA, that are part of the application', try entering the number of applicants+1 eg. if there's only 1 child in the application, then enter 2.

I didn't know about this. I will try it tomorrow. Thank you.

@PRforbaby - This worked. I was able to link my application with 2 members. (No co-sponsor). Though I didn't find much information or any new messages in GCKey portal, I was able to find my Kid's UCI and use it to signup for Application status Tracker.

Application status tracker says, Medical request process not started yet. Background Check is in progress. So just have to wait I guess.

Glad to know it helped.

Though there may not be much info right now, it will be of use later as the medical exam request (and other subsequent messages, as applicable) are received in GCKey. Usually, an email is also received informing us of a message in GCKey.

@manraman - no new updates yet

@RajathaBS - I know you said you got your baby's COPR. Did you also get the passport request for stamping? I am trying to see if there will be a delay for PPR after COPR reflects on the portal? I have my baby's and wife's tickets booked for Sept 23rd. Medicals were marked complete on June 28th, so hoping that the COPR reflects very soon. But I am more concerned that there might be a delay from COPR reflecting to PPR to actually receiving the stamped passport. It is taking about 4 weeks for stamping currently. Not sure if I should just apply for tourist visa so that they can make it for the Sept 23rd flight

COPR# appearing on the portal does not automatically mean that the PPR comes x number of days after - it's just an internal allocation step. Time for the PPR after that varies quite a bit - although of course it is still a positive step.

Are there still processing steps left after COPR reflects? Or is it just a matter of being queued to get your PPR ? Any estimate of how long it will take - days, weeks or months?

Filing on behalf of my parents, who are sponsoring my eligible siblings. I am their representative.

We do not know exactly. Some people see final decision immediately after COPR#, others have longer waits.

I don't wish to guess. You can look at trackers and posts. Just be skeptical when you hear some say COPR# "means" final approval and just a matter of days - it happens, but is not the only path.

Ultimately the COPR# is an internal administrative step (allocating a registry # to a final document) that does not mean what applicants want it to mean.
