Hi, No I haven’t heard anything after the refund letter but I received the cheque within 10 days. Although, I called IRCC and they said my file seems alright and I have to wait for the next update. But I requested the representative that I have already finished the processing time and if there is anything she could do. She mentioned to leave a note on my file for application centre. I dont think she left any note. I opened this Forum after few weeks today and I see applicants receiving P1 who submitted in last week of February. Im February 26, 2023 applicant. My next step is to receive final decision. Hopefully will receive it within a month.

Sometimes they update the background check the same day they give decision. This happened with my work permit application in April. My background check date and final decision date was same.

You should call IRCC to inquire about background check. It's likely all good. GC shows me mine still in process but when I called, it was confirmed that it was done.
They never asked me anything, it is mentioned in my gc key account that background check is in process, I don’t know weather it is comprehensive or standard
It's mentioned in your AITP notes. However, if it takes too long, you can request the court to waive it. I hope you get your PR before it comes to that.
You can not use pre-arrival service because you are already in Canada. Anyway, the good news is that your eligibility has passed since it comes after eligibility
