Hi everyone,

Just wanted to check in and see what others think — do you believe PR processing for February 2025 inland spousal applicants will take longer than the typical 12 months?

I know IRCC showed a 24–28 month estimate when we applied, but recent timelines seem a bit faster. Here’s my timeline for reference:

Application Submitted inland: Feb 4, 2025

AOR (Acknowledgment of Receipt): Feb 27, 2025

Biometrics & Pre-Arrival Letter: June 9, 2025

Biometrics Completed: June 11, 2025

Sponsor Eligibility & AIP (Approval in Principle): June 13, 2025

Has anyone else from February 2025 gotten DM (Decision Made) or PR already? Any thoughts or trends from earlier months?

Thanks in advance

You should get PR relatively soon so processing under a year. There is huge variability in processing time depending on the application but still fairly common to get processing in under a year for many applicants.

lol we already pass April 2025 !
Haha yeah, I think they meant April 2026 too — I was wondering the same thing!
That said, I've been seeing a lot of similar February 2025 applicants getting AIP around June just like I did, so I’m hopeful we’ll get DM and COPR well before the 24–28 month estimate.

If anyone from Feb or Jan 2025 already got PR, would love to hear your timeli

Honestly your application is moving fast but dont be surprised if it slows down after u get to background check. I’m thinking you’ll be landed by September the latest. All the best !!’

I'm getting to that stage where the waiting feels extra. Somehow the past few months flew by, but now it feels like time has hit a weird pause.
It's like I blinked and June was gone, but suddenly August is crawling.
Come on August... go fast.
I just want that next update — Final Decision, eCOPR, something.
Anyone else feeling this strange limbo?
