No updates yet. I filled a web form to provide my NOAs on June 28 (just in case if that is something my partens' application is not moving forward), and in the message, I raised the concern that the regular processing times have been passed. The next day, I received this response -

hank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We acknowledge receipt of the documents. Please note, for technical reasons, they may not be visible in your online account. Rest assured that your supporting documents are indeed added and available for officer review.

  • If your enquiry was solely to provide documents, please note this is the only response you will receive.
  • If your enquiry included additional questions in addition to the documents, they will be addressed separately, as soon as possible.
While your application is being processed, we recommend consulting the Check your application status.

There are no updates since then. I am thinking of submitting another webform.

There is really no point you will be told that your file is being processed again. If you get to the end of August I would order GCMS notes. Summer is a busy time and on top of that people take vacation so there are typically reduced staff. IRCC is also being much more particular when it comes to who they admit to Canada because multiple years of almost no screening has created significant issues. This means VOs are having to spend longer per application. There are also backlogs when it comes to stamping. The system is just overwhelmed.

Some people have always had their TRVs processed in a month. Those applications have been identified by AI as very strong applications. The longer processing are applications that require manual review. Many more people are going through manual review as Canada attempts to screen applicants better after approving too many TRVs for non-genuine visitors.

Doesn’t mean he won’t have to go through manual processing.

Hello, I have two questions

1) I want to invite my mom under the supervisa application. I have the proper funds and meet the LICO if I show my pay slips and bank statements. but I have been away for 4/5 months last year and my T4 is less than the minimum amount required for the LICO.
After I came back, I started working on August 2024 and I can show all the pay slips from August 2024 till now.
Would that be okay? I can also write a letter of explanation stating why the amount on the t4 was low and can provide proof of pay stubs(August 2024-present)
2) My mom is coming for 3/4 weeks max, but in the future she will come to stay for more than 6 months which is why am opting for supervisa. Has anyone applied for a super visa but with the intention of staying for couple of weeks or months?

TIA
