My mother had her visitor visa approved three years back. But she just visited me this year for a stay of 5 months. I and my sister, we both are PRs in Canada. Sadly she is a single parent and I want to apply for her visitor visa. She has a sister in india that she visits frequently and has never overstayed her trips in Canada. I am planning to apply for her super visa hoping her earlier traveller history might help prove her intent to return back. She owns a property back home, but has a been a homemaker for a long time now. She earns my managing a shop and gets monthly payments. They allow her to work from canada as she is invoice and they are known friends of my mom.

I was planning to not make her another visit for a year and then apply for a super visa. To support her inclination to return back to India.
I am confused how to navigate against the strong ties she has in canada. Will it have impact on her application? How to balance it out? Are there any suggestions on this please? How single retired parents applicants should navigate the super visas? Thanks

What do you mean by "sadly" she is a single parent? Who is she caring for in home country under 22 to be a single parent? If you meet LICO for her and she purchases insurance and passes a medical then show her property, shop payments etc.

Sorry, I mean we both sisters, both in canada are her only children. She is a widow, and no other direct family member. She has her sister, and other relatives that she likes to visit time to tome

So not a single parent because she is not supporting/caring for other children. She shows here ties to return with your NOA. Ties to return are property, any work, pension, investments. Having both children in Canada will weaken ties to return. She can apply anytime.

so how severe is the strong ties in canada and weaker fmsily ties in India (home country) for her case? Has anyone who in same boat applied and how did it go for them?

There are many who do get approved with similar circumstances but the reality is that a supervisa remains a visitor visa so you and your sister need longterm plans for your mother in her home country. The length of visit under a supervisa is leading to the false impression that this is a permanent move.
