What is the timeline looking like for the AOS pathway? AAIP website says that they are still processing applications from before Feb 14, 2024 for quite some time now. Submitted my application in the last round of EOI draws.

My wife has a pgwp but she has studied from other province except Alberta. Is she eligible??
No. She must have studied in Alberta to be eligible for AOS. As per the link only specific, only specific work permit holders are eligible. Look at Express Entry, and see if there are any draws with your NOC.

OMG. We have only 1 year left and we moved to Alberta 6 months ago thinking we have a chance in AAIP.
My noc code is 60020 and my score is 425. Express entry is not a chance for me then

Alberta posted to changes to its PNP system more than 6 months ago. Focus is on specific NOCs, EOI score, job offer and those who have LMIAs and studied in the province. You are only eligible through Express Entry for Alberta. Learn French now.

Hi everyone, I need some advice. I applied to the AAIP – Alberta Express Entry stream under the Accelerated Tech Pathway and was selected with 67 points. I claimed points for a 2-year Software Development Diploma from Bow Valley College (Alberta), which I believed was my highest relevant education.

After receiving my ITA, I uploaded my foreign Bachelor's in Industrial Design with the ECA. AAIP now says that’s my highest credential (even though it’s unrelated to my current tech job), so they recalculated my score to 60 and asked me to explain.

Has anyone faced this before? Can anyone suggest how I could argue that I deserve the 14 points (4 for the diploma + 10 for Alberta education) instead of just 7 for the foreign degree? Any tips or examples would be really appreciated. Thanks!
