I'm seeing all these videos on YouTube where these agents tell about how their clients got their visitor visas in 12 days, 20 days etc. These would either be Can + visas or IRCC though claims otherwise, gives precedence to applications from agents.
Sometimes, I even feel this whole thing is a scam. They aren't doing it genuinely. I have lost hope that they will process my visa. I'm planning to withdraw.
I don’t think IRCC gives any benefit to agents, nor regular visitor visas involve so much money sufficient for agents to bribe IRCC employees. May be possible in case of PRs.

What will be benefit of withdrawing application as compared to leaving it as it is, not caring about it? You will anyways not get fees refunded?
No update on the tracker.
Previously, before the medical was passed, agent submitted a web form inquiring about an update. Interestingly, within two weeks, the medical was passed. However, there has been no update since then regarding the PPR, I guess need to raise another web form as you said.
FYI - The application for my mother's super visa was applied on April 02, 2025.
Any idea hiw long should I wait? Its already been like 20 days now. There is no point in raising a webform you just need to wait and you should hear in the next few weeks.

I’m still waiting to hear from them.Does anyone who is still waiting have any updates?

Don’t worry, if it’s a manual review, it takes that long, one of my friend got a response after 2-3 months and some have waited more. Every case is different, I understand your frustration, anyone would get tired of waiting but nothing can be done about it.Im hitting 2 months now.
Application country: | Colombia |
Visa type: | short term (60 days) for language study (sent them the confirmation from the school) |
Travel history: | some to Europe |
Criminal records: | no |
Application rejections: | a jan. 2025 application rejected because no tickets included |
28.05 | visa application application |
30.05 | biometrics completed |
last state: | no update since, showing only "Background verification in process" |
What were your reasons for refusal because IRC tells you not to buy tickets until approved but show a dummy booking.as i understand, visas are generally processed by the canadian embassy within a certain country. so while the same type of visa application in en India might take 30days, it might take 120 days in Brazil...
also the visa type is crucial. are you applying for a short term visitor visa or a visa to study 3 years in canada.
and they might want to know why possible previous application were rejected
last but not least thetravel history might affect your application. if they see it neccesary, they might request a criminal report of you from some countries you traveled in the past...
so it would be interesting to know your situation.
