I know, I've been living in Alberta since I landed in Canada. I don't understand where this 49 months number come from.

It was probably just a mistake they thought you live in Quebec. Don't worry your waiting time is same 28 months. You should hear updates soon.

No. Instructions clearly mentions - Only Canadian citizens (whether living inside or outside Canada) or residents of Canada can submit petitions.

Just checked my account and I received the final decision on July 16th. Applied Feb 26th, 2023.

I have sent a webform message and called.
Response: We understand you have exceeded processing time (28 months) and everything looks good on your application. You have to wait till you are contacted.

Any idea how long I have to wait? Is it advisable to call everyday as I intend to do that?

I can't understand the system I also still wait for more that 24. Month without any replay and I saw others applying les than a year !

1 Declaration that you are in Canada 2. Provide them your current address as this is where your PR card will be sent to 3. Send a digital photo- Go to Shoppers Drugmart and tell them to take your digital photo for your PR and let them give you in the USB flash drive and upload it to the photo page and finally click submit button. Ensure that all the 3 procedures are fulfilled

I’m a protected person here in Canada, and I should be getting my PR confirmation soon, maybe in a month or two. I already included my family (who are in Egypt) in my application.
I got a letter saying my family is included in my PR eligibility, and later I got an email from the Canadian embassy asking for some documents for them.
But after that, I haven’t heard anything—nothing about medical exams, biometrics, or any next steps for them.
If anyone has been through this or knows if I’m missing something, please let me know! I’d really appreciate any advice or info.

Hi, does that letter saying a visa office will responsible to process dependents application? Or it also confirms their eligibility has also been passed?

Don’t worry. It is the date that you linked your pr to gckey. The actual submission data is under your application number.

It appears that the February application has been received for the Final Decision. Today should be the March application turn, fingers crossed

Yeh, I got mine the next day after the final decision on 10Jun, but I am still waiting for P2, it’s taking long. Any Feb applicant got p2 yet?
