Sad news for me. Got generic refusal just now. Applied on 29th may biometrics 2nd june. Genetic refusal today 8th july, 2025

What is generic refusal? Yes all reasons have a generic tone but usually due your profile and application not being strong enough with enough documentation.

What is reviewed - family ties, ties to return, Cash, valid reasons to visit, length of visit, travel history etc.

Applied on june 12 (minor son )
Raised webform : june 30
got reply : July 9 2025 (ist)
they requested some information ( purpose letter - i submitted my medical reason again ) and i uploaded that today regarding minor son visitor visa application.
They said they will reply within 5 business days.
So probably till Monday.

got reply : July 9 2025 (ist)
they requested some information ( purpose letter - i submitted my medical reason again ) and i uploaded that today regarding minor son visitor visa application.
They said they will reply within 5 business days.

My Fiancé applied for Visitor visa from India. She applied on 13th May 2025 and we got Client Application Summary on 20th May 2025 but since then we haven't had any updates on the application.

I want her to visit me next month but I guess even if she gets her PPR, it will take a month for them to stamp the visa on her passport. is there any Action I can take to accelerate the process? been about 2 months with no updates

You can just raise webform, stating any important event or to remind them abt delay.

Webforms do not have an option for "Visitor Visa" under What are you submitting application for? question. I raised one selecting "Electronic Travel Authorization" and they just responded saying "Please select appropriate option".

They have : temporary resident option nd visitor visa comes under TRV
