I applied for supervisa for parents on June11th. I have not mentioned parents address and phone number in the invitation letter. Is there any issue? Or should i add updated invitation letter via webform?

I did not include my mom's address on invitation letter, but I did include my address, and also addressed the letter to the Canadian embassy in the country (including the address, easily found on google maps) from which she is applying (since that's typically where they are processed).

Posting under April 2024 but they applied in August 19, less than two weeks ago. Check processing for your country.

I want to share an experience we had on my father-in-law's recent SuperVisa application. My wife's parents are from Indonesia We first applied for both of them on Mar. 27, 2025. Both were refused on Apr 23. Our immigration consultant advised us to wait until after the election, and then try applying one at a time. We re-applied for my mother-in-law's on May 12. She got approved on June 11. We shortly thereafter applied for my father-in-laws under the full expectation that he would get approved, but he was denied on July 7.

We were so confused, as we met all the requirements, and more, and Canada claims to stand for family reunification and now they're splitting up the parents? Didn't make sense. We contacted our local MP in Manitoba who then contacted IRCC on our behalf, not to change the decision but get the officer's notes (all they said on the refusal notes were "we don't believe you've answered truthfully" very vague). We found out they were concerned about the reason why he was denied a US visa 17 years ago!! We did not include that as there wasn't space on the form to include more details. Our immigration consultant point out that Canadian law only counts criminal records within the last 10 years, so this officer was lazy and did not do their homework. Anyways, we re-applied on Aug. 5 with letters from us and my father-in-law explaining the reason behind the refusal. We got his PPR on Aug.11 !! Less than a week!

So it seems like what the Canadian government wants is full disclosure if everything in the past, even if it doesn't look good, once you explain they seem to be more understanding. Just be upfront from the get-go is our advice.
