Any updates for anyone? This is getting frustrating. I know that refusals are usually sent out on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Panicking for tomorrow now.

you applied on 27th May
your biomertircs were done on 2nd June

(IRCC starts processing document after biometrics are completed as per application status in IRCC portal and they can always demand for any additional documents or medical test if needed which will further delay the processing time)
however, your are being superstitious about the days of approval and rejection, some got rejected on Monday, Sunday and every day of the week, so that’s not the case for sure.

The processing time of IRCC is still in the 18 days or 19 days timeline which you mentioned in your previous posts.
Hopefully by 20th or 21st June you should be getting an update, so currently there is no delay.

timeline has passed on my sister's application its just so upsetting

Anybody researched or contacted ircc for delaying cases? It never happened before, as i have multiple experience woth ircc. No.1 disturbing thing is background check . In my previous experience they complete background check same day as they update biometrics in portal. Second, this long time with no any update i.e even in tracker application looks it didn't mobe to second step. For example, in my case application is submitted on 29th may and only update is on 30th may. How it psbl that it's more than three weeks and application is not even touched after 30th may.

Posted processing times are not guaranteed and often don’t reflect actual processing times individuals experience If AI is involved processing times are relatively short but if manual processing is involved it is very common for processing to take multiple months. IRCC is not delaying cases and there are no specific days for approvals and refusals. If you applied for your previous TRV a few years ago IRCC was approving almost everyone but that lead to many problems so IRCC is back to trying to vet applications better. Your processing time is not abnormal so there is nothing you can do unless it is truly a life or death emergency. There are other examples on this head of similar processing times. Getting a TRV is a privilege and you can withdraw your application if unhappy with your processing time.

Thanks for brief reply. I bleive and aware of the things you briefed here. I am only trying to diganose that if ircc changed its policy i.e AI to Manual system. Approval and refusal is dfrnt story, but till mid of may most cases were processed withing two or three weeks. Problem starts when i see no activity from ircc side since 28th may as per tracker . It raises concerns regarding the process. Or may be portal or tracker is not updating what is happening in backend.

Exactly. That is what my concern is as well. Right now I just want to know my outcome regardless of what it is. Also for the comments on what days they refuse etc. I have previous experience of family members that have had refusals specifically on Tuesdays and Thursdays hence why I mentioned that. They have an algorithm to what days they are approved and refused. I do not just write what I believe in rather what has actually happened. I might be wrong but I am pretty sure my information is accurate.

Same here, I applied on 12th May and still in background processing.

Processing taking up to months has been standard from India there have been no recent changes.

That may just be random. There is no way that IRCC wastes its resources issuing approvals and refusing on certain days. There is no benefit from doing this.

It might make sense for them to use certain days for approvals and refusals. It doesn't have to make sense to the public. It's kind of like a business, they have their ways of doing things for applications and their outcomes. Does not necessarily mean they are "wasting" their resources. What they do might keep them more organized for their line of work.
