Dependent Child Sponsorship -2024

Hey All,

Sponsoring my 3 month old daughter born in India. I am in Canada right now and my wife is in India with my daughter.

Application Submission : April 25
AOR : May 15
Sponsor eligibility completed : May 30
Medical request : May 30th - Did medicals on same day.
Awaiting for further updates :)

Question : Do we need to track using Sponsor UCI and kid's application number or the kid's UCI and application number for tracking status on https://ircc-tracker-suivi.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login?

  • March 27, 2025 - Submit application
  • April 30, 2025 – AOR Received
  • May 07, 2025 – IRCC confirms account linked to online portal
  • May 07, 2025 – Biometric requested
  • May 08, 2025 – Met sponsorship eligibility confirmation from IRCC
  • May 08, 2025 – Medical request
  • June 02, - Passed medical notification from IRCC

Thanks for sharing your timeline.

You can create separate accounts for the Sponsor and the kid using their respective UCIs but the same application number. You will be able to see a different set of updates in each. The kid's account usually has more details. Hope this helps!
