Protected persons are considered domestic students at the college or university level.

Did you not read what i said? Applying for study permit is “free”. Im a student and I pay tuition so I know.
What does this have to do with the OP's question who, I think, has a child in Grade 2. A student in primary school has free tuition.

And so how does that apply to "studying in Canada free"? Seems your education dollars are being well spent in your case.

Do you not understand english lmao i said study permit application is free, for non-protected persons they usually have to pay when they apply for study permits. “Studying in canada” is not free, we still have to pay domestic tuition.

You can get grants depending on your program etc and we also are eligible for interest free student loans.
