Anyone received their PPR or COPR?

Ours is in the PA background/eligibility check stage after completing the medical and biometrics requests a couple of weeks ago. I expect our application to stay in this stage for some time, so PPR might still be a ways away. Hard to say at this point exactly when that comes.

Both Biometrics and medical completed - May 13, 2025

Awaiting next step. Hopefully it is a passport request. Not sure when to expect. It is a very straightforward application, no travel history, no work history. She is a student. Any idea what's the timeline these days for passport submission request?

In the same boat.Everything seemed to be moving smoothly, AOR, biometrics completed and sponsor eligibility passed. Now nothing for almost 3 weeks, haven’t received medical invitation yet like you. Only shows background check in progress.

It seems where the PA is from impacts the speed of the application. Being from a “friendly” country with Canada, seems to mean faster processing.

Hey, could you please let us which was your visa office. Was your file ever in ndvo?

I got initial correspondences from CIO Sydney. So, I assume that was the visa office. My file was never in NDVO so far. However, I think it may go to NDVO for visa stamping.

Your biometrics should have been. completed by now. It gets updated with in a week after giving biometrics.
