Yeah, my friend did it, and he is Canadian citizenship now.

Update: Tracker is updated on April 24 2025 as LPP is complete as of April 17 2025

Update: Tracker is updated on June 7 2025: Activity status updated: Citizenship oath. Citizenship ceremony. Citizenship oath status has been updated to In progress with a June 5th date.

You said June 5 in your previous email so don't know what's going on (already passed the date).

But we had family member reschedule to in-person, total delay of less than a month. I think that should be comparable to rescheduling depending on circumstances.

BUT: a warning, for those who are outside Canada and don't know when they're returning or months in future, situation may be quite different. I've seen reports here of people getting response that's basically "respond to us when you're back in Canada."

Point being, that's a quite different situation than "I cannot do Friday July X because of [reason that can't be rescheduled], but I'm in Canada and can do any other day."
