I have questions
Am disabled and my sister in canada on work permit (she meet all requirements) if i offer job to her
Am on income replacemt from car accident 2500$month+odsp 1300$

Can possible third party contribution pay her like (my cousin or my family from back home )

You would have to pay her. Your current income would not support paying for a full-time caregiver. Do you currently have a full-time caregiver that she would be replacing?

Unfortunately your income is going to be insufficient. Do you happen to have a spouse or common law partner? If so, you can combine their income with yours and this may be sufficient, depending on how much they earn.

Income from other family members will not be considered.

I have one question related to "Training requirement" (not work experience)

IRCC website says:
You must have received a credential for a relevant training of at least 6 months, within or outside Canada. The training must: be targeted towards the following National Occupational Classifications (NOCs) HCWIP: Child Care Home child care providers (NOC 44100) Early childhood educators and assistants (NOC 42202). This does not include early childhood educators, day care teachers and supervisors.


Here is my question. Does it (the last sentence) exclude the education as well?
If I completed a college program of "Early childhood educators" (i.e. 2 years Seneca ECE program), can I be eligible for this new immigration program (HCWIP)? Again, the college diploma is for training requirement instead of work experience requirement which I do not have 6 months experience yet.

Short answer is no.

You were not paid (did not receive a T4 in your name) so IRCC will not accept this as work experience.

Google - AIP and read the rules. Nanny is not under AIP. For PSW, maybe. For AIP, the employer has to be designated and approved by the province as not being able to hire someone in the province and business is registered and has an office in the province.

Hello VIP member here, many are now receiving refusals for Home Care Worker Immigration Pilots (In-Canada) that was first launched on March 31, 2025. Most of these refusals are those applicants who applied under Alternate Format Applications. Looks like these applicants took this advantage after the March 31st CAP has reached and now receiving refusals. Can you please educate everyone here who is eligible to use this Alternate Format? Because people are so confused why there is an alternate format for this, and they read that this format is for applicants who cannot apply online due to disabilities or other reasons. They're questioning how these applicants can even work as Caregiver if they themselves are having "disabilities"? So, how is someone going to be qualified to use the Alternate Format and what kind of "disabilities" or "reason" they should have to use this? Everyone is confused.....Thanks...
