Hello guys. Hope you all are doing good. I applied for my son on the 2nd of December 2021. There were no medical or biometrics for him but still there is no update

How old are your son? Kids under 14 are not required to provide biometrics and i think medical request depends on the length of the stay.

Yes there were no biometrics or medical required for him. I had applied on the 2nd of December I just want to know how much more time it will take as there hasn’t been an update on his application yet.

Current trend seems like they are processing November applications.
I applied for my newborn in November and still waiting.

Oh November, is it? Oh okay. When do you feel December results will start coming in? When I call ircc the automated status says , the review of your eligibility has not started yet. I can understand. This waiting period gets tough. It’s way over the processing time.

All we can do is wait endlessly.Our review of eligibility started 2 weeks ago and no updates after that.

Okay. I believe soon then. What date did you apply if you don’t mind me asking. November end? So for kids also the status says review has started ?

Biometrics: 30th Dec
Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility
You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes
We do not need additional documents
You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes
We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

This is the current status. Haven't got any updates on this for more than a month now. I had applied for a business visa. The dates in my invite letter have expired. is this an issue?

About the review thing i think it depends on the processing officer, coz some applicants received direct PPR and some not.

It's similar for everyone I think, going by the trends they are still working on november files. Also, the processing time for trv from India is increased to 93 days now, it's all wait and watch game now

It’s way past the processing time also now. How long is it going to take for December files ?
