Someone had earlier mentioned 2-3 working days. But not sure. What is the status of the application for which you got tracking numbers on Thursday?
I got my tracking id few minutes back. Can you give me the timeline for the tracking id you got on Thursday. And what exactly does passport exempt mean?

For the ones that reached on Thursday 2/24:
Friday 2/25 - Acknowledged by IRCC, Counterfoil generated, Sent back to VFS. Received message in my CIC account that processing has been completed for two individuals.
Monday 2/28 - VFS couriers package back to me
Tuesday 1/3 - Received FedEx packages with COPR
By passport exempt, I meant both were US passports that did not need to be sent in for visa stamping, only photocopies. Not sure if that affects the timeline.
Okay got it. That was pretty quick. But you dont have updates on the other passports?
When did your documents reach vfs? Did you raise any expedite request? US born kids would qualify for passport exemption, i think thats what the other person was mentioning
Update on our passports - Looks like IRCC has finished processing our applications this morning. CIC account status changes to “Approved”. Account was updated with counterfoil information. Hopefully we should have our passports back by early next week. No changes to VFS tracking yet.
All, My tracking number still shows ''Your application has been received and is under process at the IRCC Office on 2022/03/03'.
Now I am worried as I need to travel abroad on next Wednesday and I am not sure if I will be getting the passports by then. Its been 4 days that my passports are with IRCC and no movement yet.

Here is my timeline so far if it helps others:
* Fedex package delivered to VFS NY with Original passport: Feb 10th 2022.
* Haven't heard anything from them for weeks (tried chat and email but received standard response that they were slammed).
* Finally got an email from VFS on Mar 4th stating that my passport photos were incorrect size. (None of the photo studios near by were doing 5x7 and I presumed the standard US size will do, my bad! ).
* Sent a new Fedex with package with 5x7 size photos (Finally found one which was an hour away from my place!) that was delivered on Mar 8th.
* Same day (today) got an email stating that it has been dispatched to IRCC for processing.
I guess now it's my time to wait for IRCC to finish processing and VFS to ship the passport back to my home. Hopefully should be done in the next week or so. Fingers crossed.
