She is almost 10 years away from applying so it’s hard to predict what the study permit applications will involve then. Her choice of program will need to make sense based on her previous education and work history. If she wants to do a bachelors degree it primarily comes down to whether you have the funds to support her studies. You will be looking at over 100k.

Dear All,
Is there any program under which a minor aged 4 years can go to Canada for schooling and his parents can join him. If so, please post your comments/suggestions/guidence, how to proceed and any link available to know more about such programs.
Thanks

Assume child has no status in Canada, then child apply student permit while parents apply for visitor visa or other TRV.

If parents have no status in Canada, then the parents apply and gain admission to a public or private school and pay tuition for their child. Then apply for a study permit but the child will need a Canadian guardian. This guardian can’t be the parents if the parents have no status in Canada. The parents can apply for a visitor visa (can’t work) which allows them to stay up to 6 months. The guardian oversees the child’s well being and education. You will want at least $25k per year to pay for tuition and living expenses for the child.

Your child is very unlikely to be granted a study permit to attend junior kindergarten. Parents aren’t guaranteed visas to accompany international students. In rare cases one parent can remain with the child without working but not for years. If you want to immigrate you and your spouse need to qualify not your child. Did you lose your PR status?

I know some international students who one parent remain with the child without working for years. It's really not rare.

Sometimes the other parent comes to visit them.

It is rare. The majority of international students aren’t in Canada with a parent. You also can’t count on a parent being able to visit in Canada while their child studies and keep getting extensions.

It is. You may live in an area where you have very wealthy families who have one family member visit Canada while their child studies (often in a private school) but in general it is rare. You need to show significant extra funds to be allowed to keep extending your visitor visa while your child studies. The program was not created for family members to accompany their children.

No I'm not living in a wealthy neigborhood. But we don't even know the financial status of those international student's parents. It could be a private or public school, but in general it's not rare. They might be coming from a wealthy family. Wealthy families can still apply it even though it was not created for them to accompany their children.
