Bird flu cases have been popping up constantly in China these past years. But they are animal to human transmission. I also doubt it would be as bad as covid since it’s so fatal. I don’t think I could judge their eating honestly since people will eat what it takes to survive. I don’t think there is a lot of meat production since they import a lot of meat. Maybe eating things raw is an issue but raw fish is popular anyways.
