Unlikely to be accepted. It may also hurt your application if your officer is not an easy going person. You basically gave them a strong proof that you won't live in Canada after you get your citizenship.Good day everyone,
I got a job offer outside the country . I applied for urgent citizenship two days ago . Do you think they will accept that reason . I have included them my job offer as well as explanation of the needed of this job . Do they replay to the request or they will just ignore it . I have done my test since May and no update since then . Any recommendations?
you are lucky at least your status is DM, we are even not DM yet since Jun 30th no activity.Mississauga Office ; Extreme Delays
Application filed: Jan 2020
AOR : Mar, 2020
Tests : April, 2021
DM : May 2021
Oath : Still waiting
I sent email to Mississauga one month ago and they told that I am in queue .
Anybody still waiting like this.
I disagree. Citizenship is not dependent on the intention to stay in canada forever. The applicant has already demonstrated that by completing the minimum time needed to be spent in canada (3/5 years)... there is clearly laid set criteria (criminality check, time spent in the country, taxes paid, language requirement etc....) PR though is dependent on your intention to make canada your primary residence. The officer might actually consider that a future canadian citizen has the skills which are much sought after in other parts of the world too!Unlikely to be accepted. These are the written rules. There are unwritten rules, too. IRCC asked on at least one reported occasion during the interview if the applicant is intending to stay in Canada or not. Why to give them any reason to potentially delay your file. After you get your citizenship go anywhere you want, and they cannot say anything then. But while processing your file, they have the discretion to delay your file based on hunches, and you cannot know why they delay your file, or do anything about it.I disagree. Yes. Not only that there is no necessity to ask for current updated driver license just because the one submitted is expired(after the application is submitted) which is of no use asking if that person has driver license now. Some officers dont really go by requirements, rather they waste time like this and delay. These are the written rules. There are unwritten rules, too. They work on age old same process hence they feel very less difference between pre-2015 rules post-2015 rules. Some officers surely are there who dont like the current rules. If they all obeying rules then they shouldnt be asking this kind of documents that dont even remotely relate to eligibility criteria.I disagree. unless you have intent to travel outside Canada. my application status changed to DM in July. PR expired in April2021. I applied for renewal of PR card. its been 3 months now with no update. I hope I get the citizenship by end of 2022. my passport expires in Dec 2022. I don't want to get it renewed. All i am praying is that Mississauga office wakes up from their deep sleep and process the pending files of 2020. If I am given a chance, i want to train them on what FIFO really means. people from 2018,2019,2020 are waiting and you see ppl from 2021 getting their applications processed.Hi, the status of my application hasnt changed since Sept (everything shows completed except oath on the tracker). My PR will expire in Sept 2022. Should I apply for an extension if i dont hear from cic soon?
