PPR received but passport returned without Visa from CHC, New Delhi

Hi All,

I am a returning worker currently in India.
my work permit was renewed and after that I came back to India. I applied for TRV to return to Canada.
I got passport request letter for my application and after that I submitted my passport for stamping via VFS to CHC in New Delhi. They returned my passport back without stamping visa and attached a letter saying “please do not send the passport unless asked to to do. We will let you know when your application is finalised”

Have anyone experienced similar situation?

I sent email to the CHC, raised webform but they are not answering my query.
Please suggest what can I do?

Should I send my passport again ?

Try to contact VFS if possible and also send a copy of your Work Permit this time if it works

Hi did you submit your passport via the two-way courier? or just directly to vfs ?

Yes. I submitted via vfs 2 way courier.

I contacted vfs but they said that they cannot do anything I need to wait for reply from CHC. It has been a month now but I am not getting any useful reply from them.
Will it be helpful If I send my passport again ?

Yes. I submitted via vfs 2 way courier.

I have already paid the courier fee and waiting for the AWB number. So should i send my passport or not? And did you include your PPR as well ?

You will receive the AWB no and the list of documents you need to send. And the passport will be picked by Bluedart after that.

Ideally you don’t but in my case it happened.

Did you give your biometrics? and did you get any update in your account saying your file has been transferred to New Delhi

May I know what is the procedure to send the passport after PPR? I am trying to find out the ways to send the passport for my father. Please advice.
