You need to be on a dual intent visa to apply for Greem Card. Meaning you need to compete with Indians for H1B. L1 would not be an issue if you are experienced. My suggestion would be to get Canadian citizenship and move to the US on a TN visa (see if your job qualifies) or find a US company in Canada, work for them and move to the US L1 visa. Stay away from H1B visa.
Your AOR is May 2021 only. Don't expect too many updates for the next few months.
May I ask why yours is in Montreal VO? Did you give the French test? I thought the VO's for US applications are in Ottawa.
Also, why would you wanna move to Canada when you are on EB1. What's your priority date?
I have not applied for GC… Canada seems a better choice.
I dont know why it is Montreal; It is just the workload. Nothing to do with French Test
I already work for multiple US companies remotely One of them might sponsor me H1B but I'm not sure how long it will take.
For all those looking for ways to make it to Canada:
I have investigated through almost each and every Canadian immigration pathway, and for those who have absolutely zero ties to Canada (never have stepped their foot inside Canada and/or do not have any relatives over there) there are only 2 options available (Please add to the list if I am wrong as I am eager to explore other options as well):
1: For those who do not have enough funds and/or ability to get scholarship/funds from a Canadian university = FSW stream and/or outland PNP nominations
2: For those who can afford a few tens of thousands of dollars per annum and/or able to earn scholarship/funds from Canadian universities = Study route
For either of these options, you absolutely do not need to spend a single dollar on consultant or immigration lawyers services. Stay away from scammers.

If your end game is to get an American PR, I think EB-1C is straightforward. You will require a bit of foot work in your work place but it is doable. As far as moving to USA thru L1 goes -- needless to say you will need to rub some folks the right way to make it happen. Or it could be a part of bigger negotiations.
I am a ICT closed work permit now applied to PR. It is a valid path and it works super if it works. It gives you everything you need. Work experience, T4s, MSP after 90 days and insurance before that, lawyer support.
Third is to join a company that has an office in Canada and do a ICT. NO, it is not hard like walking on water. Many IT companies allow that.

Yes, I am on L1 A(Manager of Managers) and choosing not to apply under EB1
