Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2021

Hello folks, for the Form IMM1344 - There are two options in the Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking: a) Withdraw your sponsorship Application. All processing fees less $75 will be refunded. b) Proceed with the application for permanent residence. Processing fees will be retained. Which of the two options is advisable for my parents?

Also for sponsor, there are only two forms to be uploaded, am i correct? one form is IMM1344 Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking and second form is IMM5768 Financial Evaluation for Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship?

affidavit can be used , when we dont have birthcertifcate, because when i applied for my parents in 2015, then we use affidavit and not found certifcate is used.

• i was single in 2018 so i should check for 3 person i guess , so co -sign won't help for 2018 i believe ??
• also was student earlier 2018 part so not sure that makes a difference ?

No, it is not OK. You do not meet the income requirements.
Co-signer won't help.
You being a student or not is irrelevant to the matter at hand - your cut-off income requirements were not met.

No. Take a look at the application guide.
They need to pass medical, crimial and background check. IRCC will also look at the sponsor's income. (and likely RO as eligibility)

No you do not meet the income requirements and you should not have applied. You took a chance away from someone that actually is eligible.

People like this should be fined for not READING THE RULES before applying.

Bit curious, you submitted your EoI knowing you do not meet the income requirement in the year 2018? It seems so you did. For 2020 one can understand, as for some of us things might have changed after submission of EoI (during the month of Oct-Dec, 2020). But for 2018, we should have known our family size, income, and other requirements when/before submitting EoI.

Now you have already submitted your EoI and gotten the invitation, lucky you, why do not you just apply and take a risk. It seems that you have enough time (based on the fact that you spare time to fill and submit EoI even though you are/were not eligible) as well as have a courage to take a risk (based on the fact that you lied by signing EoI confirming that you understood and meet the requirements).

I know I am being impolite here using the word "lied". Below is what you and we all signed while submitting EoI. So at the time of submitting EoI either you did not read/understood the requirements or understood it but ignored that fact that you do not meet. Either way, by signing you lied.

Yes, I understand yours situation is tricky. IRCC has not cleared regarding from when you can count your spouse as family members/co-signer. Is it for all three previous income years, even though you were not partner in at least one of those years?

They have example for new born but not for spousal. That is the main reason, I suggested you to apply and take a chance. You are a lucky one among many of us, so its best to take a chance when the outcome is the possibility to get united with your parents. Best of luck though.

You are eligible. It does not matter when you got married. This is what the cic website states regarding co-signers.

To help you meet the income requirement to sponsor your parents and grandparents, your co-signer can be your:

• spouse or
• common-law partner
  • If your common-law partner is your co-signer, you’ll have to submit a form to confirm your common-law status (PDF, 637 KB)with your application.

Regardless of how long you’ve been married or in a common-law relationship:

• your spouse or common-law partner can be your co-signer
• your co-signer must provide proof of income for the last 3 taxation years before the date of your application
