I don't know if I should wait another couple of years for FSW draws to resume or enroll in a 2 year study program today and apply under CEC later
It seems all the years of hard work spent in bringing up the CRS went to waste.

We’ve been delaying so many things, including planning to have our first child (this is really sad an ridiculous, i know)
If fsw draws don’t resume in September i guess we need to deploy plan B (which we don’t have yet) and forget about immigration to canada
Also, i dont understand what is so secretive about fsw draws resuming, ircc could have given some sort of a timeline.. i am sure there are a lot of young individuals and couples like us, trying to plan a lot of important things around this immigration…

IRCC doesn't have any time line because they don't know anything. What probably happened;

JT told MM that he was gonna lock the country down to win an election. MM had nothing he could do so he told IRCC to go inland-only. That's all IRCC knows.

For anyone waiting for draws, it’s fine to have a plan B but I would say wait till September/October is over before deploying it. The chances of FSW draws holding anytime in these 2 months is very high but at the same time, the chances of FSW not remaining the same again is also almost certain if the draws don’t happen by then

I am about to enter Canada with a work permit.

I wonder what would happen when I update IRCC of my whereabout.

Would my file get transfer from the local VO to an inland VO, or would it just stay in place?

Alliance Francaise Bengaluru has courses at all levels. You will need to start at A1, progress through to A2, B1 and B2 to at least have a shot at CLB7 in TEF. More details on their website: http://bangalore.afindia.org/

i went as far as learning french from 0 specifically for express entry, as the crs score was not high enough without it.
I mean knowledge of french will stay with me, whether i get a pr or not, but it was never on my bucket list and it was just extra effort for the pr and several months of zero social life and normal sleep

I saw some post march CoPR's receiving re-med request. Still the expired CoPRs are not done with.

Yes, they were. Worst thing is, IRCC and CBSA couldn't defend it in front of the parliament back in April. My guy in Canada said him and the others in his neighbourhood are rooting for the Cons.
