Any June Non-Sds applicants fall of 2021

Hi! Applied for a Study Permit from Spain. I am an exchange student admitted to 2021/2022 at UofT

- Applied 4th June

- Biometrics 12th July

This big delay from the May 15 deadline is due to my acceptance letter arriving late, and the VAC not having an earliest appointment for biometrics. What do you think are my chances? Classes start in September 9 (although online classes are offered until September 23rd) ... Current processing time states 8 weeks, is that reliable?

It's possible to get in 8 weeks, you applied from the country of Spain which has low number of applications, my guess would be 8 weeks is the exact timeline for you. Maybe even quicker. Do let us know once you get your BVL, post that it should be 2 weeks max.

I think the way it will go is like this

May SDS - > First
March Non-SDS & April Non-SDS - > Second
May Non-Sds -> Third
June Non-Sds -> Fourth

Assuming that March & April SDS is already out.

I so wish that this becomes the case However we still see June files getting results even when they were submitted after the deadline.Hope this changes today or the week after.

No IME letter received yet.
upfront medical were closed when I applied.

it's almost a month now. This covid thing has created so many hurdles!
I am fully vaccinated with 2 doses of COVISHEID! I hope I can attach that with my medical.
