Planning to apply for CSIS notes, in order to know status about security screening and wanted to know what should we write, when asked under "Please provide details regarding the information being sought"

Hi, i submitted the scan copy of the original documents, just one more concern, i had written in explanation section that i am sending the original scaned documents. But i did not attach separate LoE for it. Do i need to write LoE in PDF and upload it with scanned documents again?

Hi LegalFalcon, my file was assigned to RC9515 in June 2020 and the. To an officer as per GCMS notes in oct2020 and now it is with RC9515 as per latest GCMS notes in June 2021. My AOR is April 2020 and CEC inland. My question is , I read RC9515 as regional Ottawa center. Does it mean my file is moved back to Ottawa and waiting for it to be assigned to any officer?

Just ask for the security screening with CSIS for your file, when it was received, has it been concluded and all processing deatils.

RC -9515 is the responsibility centre code for Ottawa so your file has been assigned to CPC Ottawa.

Instead, see what stages have passed and what is pending, also see the notes.

My eligibility is passed in aug2020 and medical extended again in April 2021 as I voluntarily took medicals and uploaded again. Info sharing complete on aug 2020. Since aug 2020, criminality is pending and security’s not started. I am CEC inland.so can’t apply for other stream for a second application also. Question here is , in one GCMS notes I received in oct 2020 , I could see the officer name. Now it is like above. Does it mean my file is yet to be reassigned?

@legalfalcon I hope your doing well.

When I had a call with IRCC 45 days before they said "Eligibility" is under review.

Then I call 3 days before, status is the same saying "Eligibility" still under review.
Moreover, this time I specifically asked IRCC, does my "Eligibility" showing "Review required" or "Recommended pass" then they continued its still "Under review". Now my question is

1. Does IRCC call center agent comes to know ,what is the accurate status of my application? Can IRCC call center agent see notes from a case analyst i.e. "Review required" or
"Recommended pass"?

2. If "Eligibility" is uder "Review required " then does the application moved to some other VO, For review?

For information:
1. My VO is CPC Ottawa now
2. I have already oredered GCMS notes for more clarification.

There is no need to rely too much on who the officer is and whom it is assigned to. Most of this info is usually only available in the notes and updates.

Instead, see if your eligibility is passed. If it is, then you need not worry.

Also, most applicants in Canada only have a record check for security, which is much faster. see https://bit.ly/3apWglN

To avoid any confusion send all the documents back and include the LoE that you did not submit the originals last time and you are submitting them along with all others.

Last query,
Is it ok to send the scanned copy of original without certification of the translator?
As per your recommendation i will send my work related documents again with LoE.
Thanks

Hi @legalfalcon I hope you are well. I have a query on behalf of a friend. My friend and his wife applied for PR under CEC and are present in Canada. They got a baby born in Canada. while their application is still in progress. Now the situation is his wife is primary applicant, currently on maternity leave. They have only submitted birth certificate of the baby to IRCC, is there any other document with respect to newborn or maternity they are required to submit to IRCC? Will this impact their application processing further?

If the baby is a Canadian citizen, then no other document needs to be filed. Also, if they applied under CEC, they do not require PoF.

There is no documentation required for the maternity leave.
