Potentially very good news in the near future. Seems like fully vaccinated travelers will be exempt from many travel restrictions including the dreaded 3-day mandatory hotel stay. Apart from uploading these certificates to the app, many countries are also working to integrate vaccine certificates with passports.

Of course. I was extrapolating it. Eventually, I believe Canada will open up for fully vaccinated travelers who are not citizen or PR holders.

Yep. Not that it matters to me - in SA vaccines are like a rumor . Definitely not readily available to the general populate, unless you are a health worker, politician with friends high up or geriatric.

yes. probably they will reopen slowly and gradually, So great news. Sadly my country has very very slow vaccination process. Still waiting my turn. Currently they are only giving doses to +40 yo folks.

Nah, we've got you guys beat on being useless at this vaccine thing . Our govt is bungling things really badly. And to think the rest of Africa is looking up to us for direction in this regard - so sad .

I wish Canada would offer vaccine on entry. I'd gladly pay for it.

Wow, that is surprising to hear. With G7 countries pledging to donate 1 billion vaccines to the world, I hope some of that trickles down to SA soon.
