July 2020, Inland Spousal PR Applications

Hello everybody,

Finally my husband received his COPR. They sent yesterday the PR portal link, we completed the info and today we got the COPR. No decision made yet. But at least he is a permanent resident. :)

Yay! Congrats! I guess they made a decision and just didn't tell you guys :D

I am so frustrated. July 2020 inland applicant, we also applied for open work permit.

I have already done bio metrics and part of my medical ( I am pregnant and cannot do my chest x-ray at this time)

I received my official AOR at the end of March... I STILL have not received my work permit.. it has been almost 11 months. I really did not see it taking this long to even work... just so frustrating not being able to do anything about it... we got an immigration lawyer, so I can't check my own status either... really wish something would happen soon and I would be able to work. Just kind of venting..

Hi there,

I completely understand, I’m a Sept 2020 applicant and never received an AOR. Received BIL & medical req though and no OWP yet.
There are some people in Sept pool who never received OWP but got their PR approved this past week so I know they’re moving ahead & clearing the backlog.

It’s very frustrating to be waiting so long & hoping to hear good news every time you check your email AND digging into whatever meagre savings you have!
I hope you hear positive news soon - remember You are never alone! :)

So we did our medical way back in april and our app has not updated ever since, the online thing still say action required for the medical exam but we confirmed with the clinic and they told me they sent already in april. Anyone's medical exam thing not update? Also is stuck in the same step? We got SA and AIP already.
