What brand of vaccine do we get which is acceptable in Canada? Like Pfizer, spurnik, sino form etc..I've heard that Canada only approves vaccines other than Chinese versions. I will vaccinate my self shortly as I want to get a good brand of vaccine which can be accepted In Canada

The WHO approves only 4 vaccines previously, recently they added two Chinese vaccines, some European countries follow the WHO's list. Hope Canada could follow as well.

The latest news said, only Canadians and PR could be exempted quarantine after fully vaccinated. So whatever vaccines they approved is meaningless for students for exemption.

That's not true, it applies to exempt travellers in which students are included.

Where is the information source you got abt this? I am about to take AZ and I hope that I can be exempt from 3 days hotel quarantine which is pricey.

I noticed many news indicated Canadians and PRs, but the details rules from gov are still not announced, hope students can be involved.

I saw in a video that got shared to me that foreign students would be included along with canadian, prs, new immigrants. I don't know if the translation is correct. I have no problem to quarantine but worried which vaccine is recommended by Canadian govt for travelers..

they said 4 vaccines approved already by health Canada. So that includes: Moderna, Astrazeneca, Pfizer, and Johnson and Johnson companies vaccines

They won't deny your entry to Canada if your vaccine is not in approved list btw. You just would have to follow the same quarantine measures in place until further notice. Also they said they will assess other vaccines in the future.
