Hi All,

Just after my AOR, I am seeing this message We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
But this is IP2 stage!! Although I had given Biometrics earlier for Visitor Visa. So is this the reason for IP2 direct after AOR?

Firstly, there is no official stages such as IP1 and IP2. Secondly, as per observations by some members on this forum this is false IP2 which will be set to so called IP1 once you pass medicals and your R10 is completed. In that stage, your background message will be "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your back ground check". This will be set back to the one you're seeing right now when your background check starts.

25 months waiting, my medical exams will expire on April 16 ..... .....
I received my notes from Gcms and realized that we have been under RCMP evaluation since September 2019 .....

Does anyone know if this is "Security" or security is apart?

medical pass
Eligibility pass
criminality pass
security is blank

Hi!

I saw a ghost update on Thursday last week. I had raised a webform on Wednesday after a month of the first webform. I had requested them to expedite my case due to special circumstances.

Any idea of timelines after a ghost update?

Background check says -
  • We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

But I am not sure if this was right from AOR or has it recently changed. Medical was passed on October 22nd 2019.

AOR - October 9th 2019.

Hello Guys,
Well, my application is under process since Feb 2019 through PNP Program. I understand that due to covid-19, the process has slowed down, but recently I observed that status of my background check has changed from "background check is under process and will send us a message if we need more information", to "application is in progress, and we will send us a message when we start the background check". It seems that they have taken one backward step. Can someone guide me on this status pls? My med & biometrics were cleared already.

Hi, this is what I’ve seen in my application, too. Could you get any answer to your question? If so, would you please give some information to me, too?

Can you give me an update of your status? I applied on Dec 21 and passed my medical on Jan 22, 2021.
I see the same status in all categories as you had on Dec 4.
