They just need budget. Take our fees and wait for long period of time.
Ircc has received at least 53 million dollars from tr to pr. But no rush to process the applications or don’t process them at all. It’s a temporary policy nothing in immigration law which force them to process them like express entry.

We can just wait and wait with finger crossed. No defined processing timeline for this new program ; no bowp. After all we are dealing with a government agency.
let’s hope for the best for us all.

I am in the same boat. So confused. Should I apply or not.
I think CEC is getting processed much faster and we at least know how the process is gonna be. With this new program, everything is unclear and we won't even know when AOR will be released.

That said, why not apply for both? Almost everyone I've spoken with say that it's okay to have multiple applications in process.

https://asianpacificpost.com/article/9101-changing-your-mind-why-some-international-students-should-withdraw-their-recent

what is your honest opinion on this article? I don’t want to freak anybody out but in this stream many of us need to make adjustments.
I think the article is exaggerating a bit, it hints applications that didn’t have everything ready upfront will be rejected.

As long as you submitted everything and attached proof of booking Medical Exams, PCC request you should be fine, and probably allowed to rectify mistakes on your documents.

The only people I can see in trouble, are people who applied twice under the same stream, applied without meeting basic eligibility (no IELTS, job, etc) or deliberately lied on their applications.

Nothing to freak out. If someone intentionally misrepresented then they should withdraw their application or face the heat of the law.
If someone unintentionally made mistakes should consult a immigration lawyer to see what can be done. They shouldn’t be penalized.

Exactly, this is what the article is referring to. People who deliberately lied on their applications or provided forged/invalid documents (e.g IELTS) are the ones who will be rejected for misrepresentation and should consider withdrawing. Other than that, there's no reason to withdraw even if you are unsure if your application would be rejected for being incomplete. Rejection due to having an incomplete application has no effect on future applications.

Guys here is a tip, if somebody have submitted two applications under one stream, they can refund their fees for the first application if they know the receipt number. In this way, IRCC will have to process second application of the same person. Good luck.

How do you know if IRCC will accept this? They might as well reject both the applications if they find out the first one has invalid payment.

Only thing that I can think now is their system is not ready for the new pathway yet. That's why we don't have AOR now.
Too many errors, misshaped, lying...and they may found out those forms, webform, Guide 5069....do not go together very well.
Well, they are doing + testing the system ...and we have to wait :)
