All i think is we guys will get some decision for our application within the month of April or End of april because if it's july intake, we need to be in canada before 10 june because of 14 days quarantine and other facilities for which they need to update us 1 month before......... Let's hope for the best

I think IRCC should work on basis of first in, first out. If someone has taken the effort to apply well in advance why delay their file so much. Besides, if it gets rejected its all the more painful and time waste.

I surely understand your point but we're thinking as a individual not as a embassy

They already have many backlog file applications for May intake and suppose if someone for September intake applies in march then it doesn't mean that they will ignore May intake and work on September one first

I hear you, but honestly IRCC has been claiming COVID as a reason for delay for far too long. World has moved on & figured how to make things work. I believe the central govt should shake them up a little.

It has no bearing. How long it takes depends on their workload and how the file moves from one case officer to the other.

I applied 25th Dec and nothing has moved on my file.

I think time starts from the date of Biometrics. In my case that happened on 19 Jan 2021. So, need to wait for 2 more weeks.

I just now submitted the webform to update the status of my application. lets wait and see.
