I called IRCC today to check my status, They told me that, they are done with the background check and just waiting for the local office reach out to me for test invitation .Since we don't see much test invitation from Ottawa,I don't think I won't get any test invitation anytime soon.

Wouldn't hurt to try that but based on most of the posts here they were told to wait too but some people reported some activity on their files after.
All in all , give it a shot.

From the notes I requested I found below:
During the pandemic, Ottawa office was assigned to support other program, and my case officer was left so mine was stoned till I asked call center last Oct, and they brought it to the supervisor's attention.
If your case is over a year, Criminality will be requested again, which takes about 2 weeks from the day they sent to RCMP

That was a long wait, but I am glad you got it.

Saw on the facebook group that an ottawa june 2020 applicant got a test invite. Normal not urgent. She was pretty surprised.

Not getting my hopes up since this VO is really bad and slow, but it was interesting that this happened
