We are September 2019 applicants and received our Online Citizenship Test Invites today.

We are in US right now on work VISA and we plan to drive to Canada to write the citizenship test.

Does someone know if we can plan to stay in Canada for only 1 night (just to write the tests from Hotel) and drive back to US?
Is that even possible with the COVID restrictions in place?

Will Canada allow us to leave after 1 day of hotel stay (without completing the 10/13 day quarantine)?
Is US allowing re-entry for VISA workers?

Any guidance or experience that someone can share?

My test was not easy, and I studied the book for a long time, some questions were asking for something I never heard about... most questions are ok but some are very tricky

Hi

My wife get an invite for the exam, and we hear that on some cases they ask about documents to be submitted, i don't know IRCC request for all candidates for these documents or it is randomly , on the case that these documents are requested , what are these documents exactly and from where it can be get it and it is mandatory that the main applicant who should extract these documents or it can be another person who extract these documents

Thanks
For the exam, you just need one signed photo id like a license or the PR card, which doesn't have a signature but they stated it's fine.

For the Oath ceremony you need to have 2 pieces of ID, one photo - I used my license and my health card (manitoba health cards are just paper, no photo), you need your PR card as you will cut it in front of the agent, you will need the oath declaration form they send you when they send you an oath invite. If you were pre 1989? you need to have a copy of your landed immigrant document (it's an old school long form), which I did because I'm so old. I'm more Canadian than where I was born. lol
