That's a very good news!!
Actually I checked my work permit status by phone. They said they are processing background check. Reviewing eligibility not started yet.
I am waiting 1 year and 3 months now.

Hopefully, they'll be faster with processing applications as soon as lock-down measures are eased.

I an applicant in Canada. I got Aor on Feb 2020.Did you do biometric? I heard I don't have to do it. Is there any difference between you and me?

Same June '19 Pilot Program (HCCP in this case). Did you mean to write that your biometrics was in March, 2020 since HSWP started in June '19 as well?

Canada is prioritizing immigration candidates who are already in the country, while travel restrictions are still in place.

The federal government has not released any details on when or how travel restrictions will be lifted. For now, Canadian citizens, permanent residents, their families, essential workers, and international students are among the key groups exempt from travel restrictions.
