Where did u apply from? I applied from Pakistan, got bvl on 12th Jan from Abu Dhabi and I am waiting too.

I applied on Dec 20.. I am on eligibility check since Jan 16, nothing else other than that.waiting..
Thanks. You mean the status changed from in progress to reviewing eligibility ? Did you do any upfront medicals and also if this is your first application ? Are you applying alone or with spouse? I applied on 25th Dec with spouse and no updates yet. First application.

This is my second application from Kuwait. My first one was refused in which I have included my children. This one I have applied alone. But I am expecting another refusal. I don’t think anything can convince VO’s in Abudhabi office. Anyway from all the threads I read here, I believe you have to take admission in a public university for visa approval.
Now that my children are going to be in class 12 & 10, I am not going to apply again. Will have to get University admission for my son next year
I see. I agree, VO in AUH are quite unreasonably harsh. This makes me wonder if they actually do this based on some sort of data or just on ones gut feeling that the person wont leave the country. I really don't think they understand the dynamics of how middle east works. They put all applicants in one big box and reject and there is nothing we can do but pray that someone sensible looks at our files and makes a fair decision.Yes my status changed to reviewing eligibility.

I am going for UCW. I know it is private and supposedly not very reputed but with my age and lack of time to prepare for any competitive exams gets me only this far.
Ok I can understand that. Even my LOA is from UCW.
Anyway I got admission in New Zealand too for 2022. So will try that if this whole thing doesn’t work out.
What is ur timeline? Did u received any update after your correspondence letter?
