Babsndir it is very bad since it was written on ircc website that if you have missing documents due to Corona virus , your app will not be returned and u will be given 90 days to submit and then another 90 days. Did you include a LOE re; PCC? or nothing? Unfortunately they will start it from 0 again , means you may be at the end of the Big Line up :(

Well it was mentioned that you need to attach an explanation that you are not able to provide a certain document because of the pandemic. It's not valid of you forgot to include a document. Now I don't know the situation, in case they forgot to include a document it's their mistake

After waiting more than 200 days with no word, no emails, and no confirmation, everything has changed this week. The first peep I heard from IRCC was last Friday (11-Dec) - a Biometric Instruction Letter in my email inbox. This came without me ever getting AOR1! Within a day I had connected my case to ECAS/GCKeys and set up a biometrics appointment. Today, I completed the biometrics in Canada (where I am presently, on a visitor's visa with my spouse). This evening my sponsor got notice of spousal approval!

If I am lucky, I will be able to complete my medical check before all of Ontario goes on lockdown due to COVID-19 and the approaching public holidays.

For what it's worth, all this action came two weeks after I contacted IRCC by telephone. Following advice from singleman, I called the number right at the end of the day, with only ten minutes left before the toll-free line shut for the day. The person on the phone helped me to change my address, and also provided me with a temporary application number (one that started with an XF00...). I can't be certain that this activity on my account caused things to begin moving for me, but maybe it did? I might suggest other May applicants who haven't received anything from IRCC and haven't got AOR1 to try calling the IRCC phone number and ask for a temporary application number because it is possible this activity may trigger the processing of your application.

Is there a thing like the applicant will receive PPR from local visa office of the PA (outland application), even though processing occurs at the VO ottawa/Mississauga?

Considering LVO/NDVO have tremendous backlogs, does IRCC have some jurisdictions on their processing times/standards for applications?
Just a curious question

Final stamping of the PPT is done by LVO of the applicant

Any awareness on when they’ll start sending passport requests for those who have reached that point of the application?? Haven’t seen much activity lately. Seems like they have paused everything now and don’t really care until after New Years.

Just to add to this. General rule of thumb. You never omit anything from an application without an explanation as to why it’s not there. Whether it’s because you don’t have the document, you don’t know the answer or can’t provide an adequate answer to the question, you add an explanation. Even if it’s something like father not on the birth certificate, not knowing the address of a family member or a birthday or whatever, always, always, ALWAYS attach an extra sheet with an explanation as to why you cannot provide what they are asking for.

If you do not, they can’t confirm whether you missed it or left something out on purpose. By adding an explanation you are acknowledging that you have seen, read, and understood what they are asking for and you have provided an answer in some form, which takes away the question of it being missed or omitted for some other reason.
