Thanks for sharing. I also have similar AOR and MEP. Since your eligibility and criminality are passed, wondering if u saw any ghost updates in past few week? And is there any change in background check status in cic portal?
Could you please call them and update us? Spread the info!

I was wondering is this RCMP check mandatory for all inland applications? And what exactly they requested you to do?

Thank you for sharing your update!
I don't think it's required for all inland applicants. From what I've read, it's a follow-up if the name-based check comes back with a result of someone with a similar name having a record. I've never been in trouble in Canada or anywhere else, so I'm not worried. It's just more money to spend and another hoop to jump through!

I did see lots of people are calling IRCC to get additional information. I wanted to try as well so i called and yeah you can get it.

Question though: why aren't they putting these information in myCIC account?

I know its to early but why not :)
Can you please share your VO ? Country of Residence? FSW/PNP ? And where did you give your biometrics ?

I also managed to speak to an IRCC agent a week back as she said my VO is Sydney, Nova Scotia.
Eligibility : Started and in progress
Criminality : Started and in Progress
Security : Not started yet.

AOR : 16th Oct 2020
Country of Residence & Nationality: India

Also if I may ask as you shared your Criminality has been marked as "passed". And you have completed your biometrics as well. Is it because you are done with your biometrics , your criminality is passed else it would have been in progress. ?
In other terms , does Biometrics determine the status of Criminality or it is covered under Security ?

As far as I know, RCMP is not required for CEC inlands. I'm CEC inland and wasn't asked to provide them. My friend who is also CEC Inlend wasn't asked neither.
