Would they stop the all program draws now after the impact of the second wave of Covid 19. And would a crs of 462 have a chance before the end of October

Immigration is the key to economic recovery, this has been stated by Immigration minister and PM as well. I believe they won't stop all program draws, coz folks getting ITA today aren't going to land in Canada before 8 months from now.
Inviting outland applicants will continue. In each all program draw, already 40-50% applicants are CEC

I doubt they will stop, worst case IMO is they could go back to alternating draws. Little to no chance for 462 for late October in my opinion.

These draws are happening as the government is trying to get ready for the future ,economically . Second wave has nothing to do with this

Dnt know why people are predicting 471 , how it’s possible . Ielts is not happening at fast pace , and 1000 candidates were left in between 471-72 After the previous draw. Hence , ideally, 2500 people got to enter the pool with 470+, to keep the cutoff to 471 , which improbable . Even , not these many were entering in the beginning of the year , when ielts was happening at the full pace , and no disruptions in ECA

I am on 469 but I submitted the profile sometime in April, hoping firstly that is an all program draw and secondly it comes down to 469 and thirdly the cutt off date is of july. I think it's too much to hope but let's see. Best of luck to all in the pool!

While it may be true that ielts is not fast paced, but you fail to put into consideration those who just added another degree or certificate, did French, completed 3 years and pnp nominations. Upgrades generally.
As much as I pray it is an all programs draw, we can only wait till this time tomorrow and hope for the best.
